Payments, Cancellations, and Rescheduling Policy
Blue Alchemy Freediving courses require advance planning, instructor preparation, and reserved facility time. Registration holds a limited place in a specific course.
Payment
Course payment is collected in full through Squarespace at the time of registration.
A student’s place is not reserved until payment is complete.
Student cancellations and missed courses
Course payments are nonrefundable when a student:
- Cancels their registration
- Does not attend the course
- Arrives too late to participate
- Misses part of the course
- Chooses not to continue after the course has started
Exceptions may be considered for a serious illness, injury, or emergency. Exceptions are made at the instructor’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
Rescheduling
Students may request to move their registration to another available Blue Alchemy Freediving course.

All transfers depend on course availability. A specific course date or location cannot be guaranteed.
Required forms and course preparation
Students must complete all required forms, online learning, waivers, medical questionnaires, and physician clearance before the course.

Students are responsible for confirming that all required items have been completed before the course.
Incomplete requirements
A student may be removed from the course or prevented from participating in classroom, pool, or open-water activities when required preparation is incomplete.
This includes:
- Incomplete online learning
- Missing waivers
- Missing medical questionnaires
- Missing physician clearance
- Unresolved medical-form answers
- Other required certification-agency documents
A refund or transfer will not be issued when participation is denied because the student did not complete the required items before the course.
Medical requirements
Medical questionnaires must be completed honestly and reviewed before participation.
Any answer requiring physician approval must have the required physician clearance before the student may participate in in-water activities.
Blue Alchemy Freediving does not provide medical clearance or medical advice.
Facility closures, weather, and conditions outside our control
Pool closures, unsafe conditions, severe weather, instructor illness, or other circumstances outside Blue Alchemy’s control may require a course or part of a course to be postponed.
When possible, Blue Alchemy will provide a replacement date or allow the student to complete the affected portion during another available course.
A schedule change caused by these circumstances does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Cancellation by Blue Alchemy Freediving
If Blue Alchemy cancels an entire course and cannot provide a reasonable replacement date, students may choose either:
- Transfer to another available Blue Alchemy course
- A refund of payments made directly to Blue Alchemy for the cancelled course
Blue Alchemy is not responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, equipment purchases, missed work, or other expenses related to attending the course.

By registering for a Blue Alchemy Freediving course, the student confirms that they have read and accepted this policy.
